Papa & Grandma Come to Visit

This past weekend PaPa and Grandma came to visit and boy were the kids excited. We spent a few hours at the pool on Friday and going for ice cream (my favorite). On Saturday the boys went to Hendrick Motorsports Museum (a Nascar team for those of you that don't know) and Nascar Speedpark, while the girls went shopping! In the evening we went to Uptown Charlotte for a birthday dinner and it was great. We had a hard time saying good-bye but grandma will be here in 9 short days again.

4th of July in New Jersey

We had so much fun spending the 4th of July on the shores of New Jersey. We watched fireworks in Ocean City and played on the beach in Cape May. It was such a delight to spend 2 fun-filled days with family...family we haven't seen in a very long time.
